Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I'm Feb 2020, during my first stint in homelessness, I sat in my car and Lauren to 3 audio books: Rich Dad Poor Dad, Increase Your Financial IQ and The Art of the Deal. I read all three books in one sitting. It took me a total of 17 hours to finish them all. Then I binged watched Robert Kiyosaki videos for a week until I had an epiphany that changed my mindset from that of an employee to an entrepreneur. I started my real estate company the next day and started doing DoorDash to raise capital.

How do you stay motivated?

Homelessness acts like a fire on my backside that I'm trying to get away from. I've hit rock bottom a total of 3 times, and this last time was the worst. It motivates me to keep moving so that never happens again.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First, I'll put it in a savings account at a credit union, then borrow against it, and pay a portion of the loan towards whatever taxes I owe the IRS for that money, then invest the rest into cash flow assets such as a carwash or laundromat to pay down the loan. Then I can amortize and depreciate the assets I bought to reduce the tax liability on them. Then I can use the equity from those assets to invest in other assets and grow from there.
