Who or what is your inspiration in business?

A few different things have inspired me in business. The opportunity to see ‘the sky as the limit’ in entrepreneurship inspires me to work hard as see where this can go. I have been further inspired by joining the entrepreneurship program in my high school and the Junior Achievement Company Program in Prince Edward Island. Both of these have given me the confidence & tools to take my Company to the next level and reach more like minded individuals.

How do you stay motivated?

Seeing more & more of my product in people’s homes & businesses keeps me motivated. I watch older entrepreneurs around me who have worked hard & achieved great success with their passion and I hope to be able to do the same. Working with wood to creating beautiful, one-of a kind pieces, is also great motivation- as once you start a piece, you cannot wait to see the finished product. This satisfaction keeps me challenged & excited.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to receive the $25,000, I would use it to quickly invest in improving my equipment to allow me to produce more intricate pieces with fine details. A CNC machine in my existing shop would take me to that next level! I would then like to hire someone to market my product online, on social platforms & in as many retail settings as possible with the hope of hiring more employees as demand increases.
