Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is rooted in my family’s journey as immigrants and small business owners. Growing up, I saw firsthand the grit it takes to build a life from nothing, but I also saw how vulnerable small businesses are to legal complexities they can't afford to fight. I quickly realized that the "little guy" is often excluded from the justice system. I built NEED2LIEN to honor my family’s legacy by ensuring that every hard-working contractor has the tools to protect their live

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the direct impact of a successful recovery. There is a specific kind of justice in seeing a small business owner finally receive the payment they earned after months of being ignored. I view access to legal remedies not as a luxury for the wealthy, but as a fundamental necessity for every entrepreneur. My drive comes from ensuring that those without a massive legal department still have a powerful voice and a seat at the table when it matters most.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would reinvest the funds into scaling Need2Lien, improving user experience, expanding multilingual accessibility, and accelerating marketing so more contractors know their rights before it’s too late. I also plan to expand automated filing across more jurisdictions and create educational resources to help small business owners protect themselves before payment issues arise.
