Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the healing traditions I grew up around and entrepreneurs who turn purpose into impact. I’ve also followed Daymond John for years through Shark Tank and his social media, where he often shares powerful lessons on discipline, resilience, and believing in your vision. His journey from humble beginnings to global success reminds me that with persistence and purpose, anything is possible.

How do you stay motivated?

As a former Olympian, discipline and perseverance were essential to my success, and I carry that same mindset into entrepreneurship. Building Edara Wellness has required sacrifice, especially as a self-funded founder. What keeps me motivated is hearing from customers who say my teas help them feel better, sleep better, and support their wellness. Knowing that my work helps people reconnect with natural health keeps me focused on the mission.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to grow Edara Wellness, a brand born from my personal journey after motherhood and inspired by the healing traditions I learned from my mother. What started as survival has become purpose helping others heal naturally. This funding would expand production and reach more communities. My mission is to create impact, empower lives, and build a lasting legacy of wellness for future generations.
