Free RegistrationMy inspiration came from a single moment of clarity. I saw a man at an oncology center left alone in his wheelchair for hours after his appointment. He wasn't just waiting; he was forgotten. In that instant, I saw the critical gap between medical care and basic human dignity. That image birthed Citywide Transportation - to ensure no patient is left behind again.
How do you stay motivated?Every client I transport is my motivation. When I see the relief on a patient's face after a safe ride to dialysis or see them arrive at a cancer treatment on time, I remember why I started. Their trust fuels me. This business isn't just vans and schedules- it's dignity, access, and showing up when others forgot to. That keeps me going.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would immediately invest in updated technology to streamline our scheduling and communication, ensuring patients never experience long wait times. The remainder would serve as a down payment on a new wheelchair van. This means fewer stranded clients, shorter waitlists, and the ability to say "yes" to more residents who desperately need reliable, dignified transportation to their medical appointments.
